Brookfield Selectboard
Warning and Notice of Special Town Meeting
The legal voters of Brookfield are hereby warned: the Town of Brookfield Selectboard will hold a joint special Selectboard Meeting and special Town Meeting on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Clerk’s Office, 40 Ralph Road, to allow public comment and a public vote on the following question:
Shall the actions taken at the Annual Meeting of this Town held on March 7, 2017, in spite of the fact that the Warning for that meeting was not published in the local paper of record, and any act or action of the municipal officers or agents pursuant thereto be readopted, ratified, and confirmed? (pursuant to 17 VSA 2662)

Materials NOT Accepted at the Event:
Asbestos, Automotive Paint, Automotive and Marine Batteries, Tires, Used Oil, Explosives or Shock-Sensitive Materials, Ammunition, Radio-Active Wastes, Pathological Wastes, Infectious Waste, Medicines, Dioxins, Compressed Gas Cylinders, Fluorescent Light tubes, Electronic equipment, TV’s, Computers.

If you qualify as a small quantity (CESQG) business, and wish to dispose of your hazardous waste, arrangements for disposal and payment must be made with Clean Harbors at least 24 hours in advance.

Due to power outage, the Brookfield Town Office is closed for the day.
Will be held at the Brookfield Elementary School at 1728 Ridge Road. Dr. William Barry will be administering the shots and you will be able to register your Brookfield dogs with the Town Clerk.
I will also be open on Saturday, May 4th from 9:00-1:00.

The Broookfield Town Office will be closed for vacation and will re-open on September 17th at 8:30 a.m. for regular office hours.
In accordance with 24 V.S.A paragraph 1681, the Brookfield Town Auditors will meet at the Town Offices at 40 Ralph Road on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. to review town financial records in preparation for Town Meeting.
The Brookfield Rabies clinic has been CANCELLED. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Please continue to mail in registration payments of $9 for spayed or neutered or $13 for non-altered dogs. If you have a new rabies certificate, I will need a copy to have on record.
