All Ages Spelling Bee @ Brookfield Old Town Hall

Forget about the 5K! Test your spelling acumen with spellers of all ages in this festive community event.
Register by September 23, and study the word lists. Challenge words, not provided on the lists, will be used to determine the winner in the Adult category.
Prizes will be awarded, and a potluck meal will follow.

Meeting of Library Trustees @ Brookfield Free Public Library

The regular monthly meeting of library trustees will be held on Thursday October 6th at 6:30 pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Town Report Distribution day

I will be at the Town Office to distribute the Town Report until 4:00 p.m.  Please one per household.

Brookfield Rabies Clinic
Mar 25 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Dr. William Barry will be administering rabies shots at the Brookfield Elementary School.  Please have your dog(s) on a leash. There was an incident last year that a dog got loose and was running through the school.

I will be available for Dog Registrations which are due by April 1st.  The cost of the registrations is $9.00 for a spayed/neutered dog and $13.00 for unaltered dogs.

The legal voters of Brookfield are hereby warned: the Town of Brookfield Selectboard will hold a joint special Selectboard Meeting and special Town Meeting on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Clerk’s Office, 40 Ralph Road, to allow public comment and a public vote on the following question:

 

Shall the actions taken at the Annual Meeting of this Town held on March 7, 2017, in spite of the fact that the Warning for that meeting was not published in the local paper of record, and any act or action of the municipal officers or agents pursuant thereto be readopted, ratified, and confirmed? (pursuant to 17 VSA 2662)
